Being an innovative and newer addition to Blackstar's product line, the Fly3 has very note worthy qualities that we thought everyone should know about.

1. Portability / Battery Powered

Every guitarist knows the struggles of carrying around their own amplifiers, the Fly3 amps are only 3" with dimensions of 17 x 12 x 10 cm (Width x Height x Depth), it's needless to say that the amp is portable. Also being battery powered, taking in 6 batteries (best option would be rechargeable batteries) or the use of the power supply (sold separately) can be used as a backup.

It may be much smaller yet still gives a big tone whilst on the lowest volume.

2. ISF

For those of you that don't know what ISF is, it stands for Infinite Shape Feature. This feature "shapes" or "contours" the tonal character of the amp, that works alongside the standard tone controls.

Once you turn the ISF counter-clockwise it projects an "American" sound that would somewhat be the scooped mids, whereas turning it clockwise projects the "British" sound that has a punchy midrange and top end. In other words you can reach endless possibilities when it comes to the amplifiers tone.

An additional feature would be the tape delay effect and level control, allowing you to control the amp during play.

3. Line Input / Recording

The amp can be used for various applications from an MP3 speaker that can be connected to a mobile phone or computer, and can also be used to play backing tracks whilst practicing. Also featuring the option to be used as a recording device that can be connected to the computer and recorded directly or run through a proper PA system. 

The amp has one last feature of having headphone inputs to practice and stay quiet whenever needed.
