The Paul Landers PL1 Signature Fly Rig offers 2 SansAmp channels, one clean (Wasser) and one dirty (Feuer). And like the other latest Fly Rigs, the PL1 can be used without an actual amp. "No amp needed for the best distortion sound I know of", as Paul himself says. Hook it up via the XLR output going to the mixer and you're all set. Other features exclusive to the PL1 are a custom-designed Vibrato effect with tap tempo control, an Ambiance control with choice of atmosphere, and two modes of Boost. This is not your one-trick-pony distortion pedal; it's a full-blown, tour-ready rig in a compact enclosure that can fit in your backpack, gig bag, or your even in your drummer's stick bag.
