The Ash top along with Sapele back and sides produce a bright, jangly tone with lots of sustain. Its Okoume neck is also comfortable, making the guitar easy to play even for players who grew up playing electric guitars.

For live performances, the TCM50 has an Ibanez AP2 Magnetic Pickup with an onboard Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp to reproduce your lovely acoustic tone through an amp or PA speakers. As it has a magnetic acoustic pickup, the TCM50 is a great choice for acoustic guitar if you also like to dabble with effects pedals. The onboard tuner is also handy for tuning your guitar onstage or offstage.
