The EBS Billy Sheehan Ultimate Drive Pedal is a practical way to get hold of Billy's rig without modifying your bass or blowing a fortune on multiple amps. The Drive has a wide gain range, so you can go from a subtle tube-like drive, all the way to high gain overdrive. The Clean level control allows you to adjust the blending of the clean and overdriven signals. Mix both for a big, powerful sound that works great in a trio band setting. There is also a switchable Compressor with Mid and High settings to nail that compressed, sustain-rich tone that Billy Sheehan is famous for.
The LO/HI Frequency Switch also lets you select from either a low or high frequency spectrum so you can quickly dial in the particular tone you need for the job. The footswitchable Boost will boost the drive so your solos stand out. There is also a Phase Inverter switch helps you retain bottom end when using the overdrive. Another cool feature: you can also easily replace the Op-Amp chip with other types to get different tonal flavors (see EBS website for options).

This pedal also has a Clean Loop and Drive Loop input/output jacks, so you can assign which of your other pedals will go through the clean signal and the overdriven signal. We recommend using a TRS to 2 x TS Y-cable like the EBS ICY-30 (sold separately) to connect pedal/s to the Clean Loop or Drive Loop.
