The BTB845 5-string bass features neck-through-body construction; with a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck running through Ash and Okoume layered body wings topped with exotic Poplar Burl. The combination of all these fine woods give this bass an exotic, boutique look, and of course, gives you tonal complexity and loads of sustain. Designed to be a "bass player's" bass, the BTB845 is loaded with the acclaimed Bartolini BH2 pickups and an onboard 3-band EQ with 3-way Mid Frequency selector to let you dial in the exact tone you need for the job.
To keep up with the busy musician, the BTB845 has Graphite reinforcement rods in the neck to help keep it stable especially travelling through varying climates, and the 24 Stainless Steel frets resist wear and tear for a lifetime of service.
